I'm Nicole Chrysikou, multidisciplinary designer, researcher, and maker from Greece, currently based in London. As Albert Camus said, “To create is to live twice” and this is one of the reasons I embarked on a design career. My BA Product & System Design Engineering at Aegean University instilled in me holistic design thinking. Seeking deeper insights into the future of sustainable living, I pursued an MA in Material Futures at Central Saint Martins, graduating with distinction.

My main focus is seeking sustainable methods of working that revisit crafts heritage, exploring regenerative materials with positive environmental impact, and proposing new design applications. I am dedicated to creating bespoke, handcrafted objects inspired by material experimentation and natural processes, starting a conversation about the sustainable future of crafts. I consider myself an ambitious, creative, and curious person who never stops wanting to develop, explore, and design not only for the present but also be part of what the future will be.
Collaboration has been pivotal to my creative journey, giving me the opportunity to work with esteemed partners such as Tom Dixon and LVMH on significant projects. Currently, I run my studio, undertaking various commissions, offering sustainability consulting services, delivering workshops, and working on developing further my projects.
